Dr. George Mandelaris
Dr. Mandelaris attended the University of Michigan from undergraduate through dental school. He completed a post-graduate residency program at the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry, where he obtained a certificate in the specialty of Periodontology as well as a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Mandelaris is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the editor / author of Surgically Facilitated Orthodontic Therapy: An Interdisciplinary Approach (Springer). He is the author of 45 peer-reviewed scientific publications and 17 textbook chapters, and a two-time co-recipient of the AAP Clinical Research Award (an annual award presented to the most outstanding scientific published article with direct clinical relevance in periodontics).
